In the Dubai Land Department’s last week, real estate transactions amounted to around 7 billion dirhams. Out of the total, 2,040 pledges of allegiance were registered, which had a value of 5.3 billion dirhams. 320 of these were for land, while 1,720 were for villas and apartments.
The most important land sales in the Saih Shuaib 3 area were valued at 168 million dirhams. In the Island 2 area, a pledge of 115 million dirhams was made, while in the Saih Shuaib 4 area, a pledge of 78 million was made. The Al Habiya Fifth District topped the list with over a hundred pledges worth over 300 million dirhams. Jebel Ali First came in second with 60 pledges worth 194 million, while Nad Al Sheba First was third with 41 pledges worth 205 million. As for the sales of villas and apartments, a pledge of 40 million dirhams was made in the Al-Raqqa area.
The Business Bay region had the most number of sales of villas and apartments in the country, with a total of 266 sales, worth 367 million UAE dirhams. Dubai Marina was second with 208 sales, worth 769 million dirhams, and Al Barsha South Fourth with 168 pledges worth 135 million. On the other hand, mortgages were also recorded at 1.24 billion dirhams. There were also 111 donations worth almost a hundred million dirhams registered. The most significant of these was in Al Nahda First area, where a total of 140 donations had been registered.
The Land and Property Department of Dubai recorded a total of 822 million dirhams worth of pledges of allegiance during the last day of the week. Out of these, 294 pledges of allegiance were for land, while 35 pledges of allegiance were for villas and apartments.
The most prominent land sales during the week were in the Palm Jumeirah area, where a pledge of 16 million dirhams was made. On the other hand, a pledge of 13 million dirhams was made in the fourth al-Habiya area. The number of sales in the first region was highest, with eight sales worth almost 30 million. In the second region, Nad Al Sheba 1, a pledge of 8 sales worth 37 million was made. On the other hand, a pledge of 10 million dirhams was made in the Al Habiyah 4 area. As for the sales of villas and apartments, a pledge of 18 million dirhams was made in the Palm Jumeirah area.
The Business Bay region had the most number of pledges of allegiance to villas and apartments with 64 million. Dubai Marina was next with 20 pledges of 58 million, while Al Barsha South Third placed third with 17 pledges of 11 million. In terms of mortgages, the value of these transactions amounted to 152.51 million dirhams. There were also 6 donations worth over 10 million dirhams registered. The most important of these donations was made in the Saih Shuaaib 1 area, which had a value of 5 million.
