Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin Launch In Africa

Dubai Welcomes TikTok’s Latest Music Feature, Expanding Beyond UK and US

Arc Sandton, V&A and Gateway hosted star-studded guestlists of the biggest celebrities, media personalities and influencers in South Africa when they launched Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin to the African market.

The company has finally expanded into Africa, with their products being launched in eight African countries, including Botswana, Kenya, Nigeria and South Africa.

Fenty is founded by singer and beauty mogul Rihanna. She launched Fenty Beauty in 2017, the African personal care and cosmetics sector is worth billions of Rands and is set to grow even bigger. And it seems Fenty wants a slice of this pie, there are over 50 different foundation shades alone.

Fenty global makeup artist Hector Espinal said: “Rihanna’s dream was to actually launch in Africa as she is a Caribbean woman from African roots and why not come to the mother land?”

Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe will be the first African countries to welcome her lines.

According to market-analyst firm Mordor intelligence, the beauty and personal care products market in Africa and in the Middle East will expand at a compound annual growth rate of 3.1% over the next 5 years.
