If you’re looking for an escape from the hustle and bustle of Dubai, it’s time to take yourself to the intimate new rooftop bar at InterContinental Dubai Marina.
Located at the top of the hotel, new haunt REX Bar is the first flagship bar of Peroni Nastro Azzurro, and is open for a limited, six-month winter season run.
With fantastic views of the Arabian Gulf and Dubai Marina skyscrapers, REX is the kind of place that allows you to be right in the heart of the city, but simultaneously away from it all.
Decked out in nautical shades of white and blue, REX’s aesthetic pays tribute to the Italian ocean liner SS Rex, which in 1933 won the Blue Riband for the fastest-ever crossing of the Atlantic Ocean.
During its six-month run, you’ll be able to head down for the 19:33 @ REX cultural event series, with happenings including expert talks on design, food, travel and fashion in Dubai, curated to unearth the city’s unique attitude and creative nuances.
With a focus on beverages including premium Italian hops and mixed drinks, REX is open seven days a week, from 5pm until late, making it a perfect place for sundowners – and for sloping out of the office early to.
The rooftop bar also serves up a selection of aperitivo dishes, all designed to share as you enjoy those sunset drinks.
