Mr. Pan Qing Jiang, Consul General of China in Johannesburg, emphasized the significance of the event, stating, “This initiative reflects the deepening partnership between China and South Africa, showcasing our shared commitment to addressing global challenges such as water scarcity.”

In addition to the borehole well donation, two significant agreements were signed during the ceremony. The second agreement, signed between LiuGong and M-Civils and BurGers Equipment, highlights the collaborative efforts towards advancing sustainable infrastructure development in the region.
