Bollywood sensation Ranbir Kapoor is set to grace Dubai with his presence this weekend to promote his upcoming film, ‘Animal,’ scheduled for release in December. The A-list actor, who is married to Alia Bhatt, has organized a series of fan interactions on November 17 and 18 in the city.
Joining Kapoor on this promotional journey are his ‘Animal’ co-star Bobby Deol, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, and T-series producer Bhushan Kumar. The actor, last seen in the romantic drama ‘Tu Jhoothi Mai Makkaar’ alongside Shraddha Kapoor, will engage with the local press on November 17. Additionally, Kapoor will be present at the Burj Khalifa on the same day to witness the projection of his film’s teaser onto the iconic skyscraper, an event scheduled for around 8 pm. Fans are advised to arrive early to secure a spot for this visually spectacular display.
Following the Burj Khalifa teaser reveal, Kapoor and his fellow cast members will head to the Global Village on the next day at 5:30 pm, continuing their promotional activities.
Directed, co-written, and edited by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, renowned for the blockbuster ‘Kabir Singh,’ ‘Animal’ also features Rashmika Mandanna as Kapoor’s on-screen wife and veteran actor Anil Kapoor as his on-screen father. Despite Vanga’s polarizing reputation due to the controversial themes in ‘Kabir Singh,’ he remains undeterred by criticism.
‘Animal’ is slated for release in UAE cinemas on December 1, promising audiences a gripping cinematic experience. Kapoor, known for leading box office hits like ‘Brahmastra,’ emphasized the significance of every film in an actor’s career during an earlier interview with Gulf News. He highlighted the constant need for actors, even established ones like Shah Rukh Khan, to reinvent themselves and connect with audiences, emphasizing that stardom alone doesn’t guarantee success at the box office.
