Forbes 30 under 30 list-maker Zareef Minty has just recently been announced as the host of Prime Live on INX Prime. INX Prime is a new channel on DSTV which is the premium broadcasting platform in South Africa.
The channel will feature a variety of shows that are geared toward uplifting and entertaining viewers. The company noted that the channel’s content will be produced with an Islamic ethos. It will also bring together different communities and individuals for discussions about current affairs.
Minty will host the flagship show Prime Live every evening from Monday to Friday from 7pm (CAT)-9pm (CAT) with fellow hosts Raheemah Boomberg and Maimoona Mabena. “I am very excited for this opportunity; TV presenting is new for me so it will take me some time but I’m ready for the challenge. Having the platform to engage with an audience that will include a large number of youth is exciting for me. I am an advocate for youth development so I could never turn down this opportunity.” Says Minty
INX Prime is seen as a game changer, in addition to the lifestyle and current affairs shows, INX Prime will also feature a range of movies and series from across the world to ensure that there is a wide selection of content with something that appeals to all.
