Mona and Huda Kattan, two Iraqi American beauty moguls, are the latest celebrities to add their names to the collection of wax figures at the Dubai branch of the famous wax museum.
In the fashion zone of the museum, the co-founders of Huda Beauty, including Cara Delevingne and Victoria Beckham, have their own space. The space is inspired by the company’s pop-up shop in London’s Covent Garden. It features a metallic throne that allows guests to sit in the spotlight and take photos with the aforementioned beauty icons.
While the former’s wax figure features a floor-length gown by noted designer Yousef Al-Jasmi, Mona’s figure is more subdued. It’s dressed in a striking black and white dress by Lebanese designer Nida Merabi. I am so honored to have my own wax figure at the museum, and more importantly, my sister Mona,” said Mona.
The two were able to get their wax figures made thanks to the hard work and dedication of the individuals who made it possible. They are very excited about their upcoming unveiling. According to Huda, being part of the process was an amazing experience.
Mona said she was very honored to be a part of the museum’s wax collection. She noted that it was an amazing experience and she was able to share it with her co-founder.
