Catch Christmas tree lights being turned on at two popular venues

Christmas trees – they are a big deal in this part of the world, and any time the lights are switched on around a mighty conifer there is real cause for jubilation.
The annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony at McGettigan’s has such ribbon-cutting vibes and there will be back-to-back switching-ons at two locations later this month.
First up, the Souk Madinat tree will be illuminating the night sky on the evening of Monday, November 22. Then, on Tuesday, November 23, it’s the turn of JLT.
Live music will be pumping up the crowd with Christmas classics, with a festive countdown adding to the excitement.

But it won’t be just the ears that are feasting on festive delights come the big event(s).
Mince pies and free glasses of mulled hops are also in the offing, with plenty being laid on for the little tykes as anticipation of the big day starts to build (we’re chill, we’re on the nice list).
Entry is Dhs50 a pop but that’s fully redeemable on those mince pies and other seasonal bites.
