In a thrilling announcement at the Dubai Airshow held at Dubai World Central, a 65-year-old Swiss national, Hugo Truetsch, emerged as the latest lucky winner of $1 million in the Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire draw.
Residing in Zug, Switzerland, Truetsch has actively participated in the Dubai Duty Free promotion for a decade. A devoted father of one, he holds the position of director at an asset management company. 
This victory marks Truetsch as the fourth Swiss national to claim the $1 million prize since the inception of the Millennium Millionaire promotion in 1999.
In addition to the Millennium Millionaire draw, the Finest Surprise draw unfolded, presenting one fortunate participant with the keys to a luxury car. Abdul Aziz Al Shareef, a 36-year-old Saudi Arabian national based in Riyadh, secured a BMW 740i M Sport car. Al Shareef, who has engaged in the Dubai Duty Free promotion for a year, is employed by the Saudi government.
