The grind, the hustle – whatever you might call it, we’re all hard at work, and it seems like the last holiday was ages ago.
Now a certain question is crossing your mind. So… when is the next UAE public holiday? Answer – it’s sooner than you might think. And how many days are we getting off for the holiday? Those who work from Sunday to Thursday will get two days off work, for a total of a four-day weekend. Whoop whoop.
At the beginning of December, employees across the country will get days off in both the private and public sectors to celebrate National Day and Commemoration Day. The break begins on Wednesday December 1 to celebrate Commemoration Day, and will be followed by two more days off on Thursday, December 2 and Friday December 3 to celebrate National Day, giving us the aforementioned four-day weekend.

The public holiday in Dubai dates for 2021 and 2022 was announced by the UAE Cabinet in December 2020 and are subject to change, but if you’re anything like us you’re already daydreaming about the holidays.
