This summer, there’s going to be a lot of excitement in the city as the Dubai Summer Surprises, which will celebrate its silver anniversary in 2022, offers a variety of deals and surprises. A grand prize of one million dirhams will be given away through a raffle draw.
The DRE and its partner, MAF, will launch a special 25-hour sale starting from February 10 to 15. During the sale, major retailers and brands will offer up to 90% off their usual prices.
The exact dates of the sale have not been announced. In addition, there will be a week-long sale that will allow shoppers to save up to 75 percent on over a thousand brands.
For over two decades, the Dubai Summer Surprises have been a staple of the city’s summer season. According to Ahmed Al Khaja, the CEO of DFRE, the event has grown from a small creek to become one of the most prominent tourist attractions in the world.
Through the Dubai Mall’s various promotions and events, including the Summer Surprises, visitors can win a grand prize of one million dirhams. They can also win eight weekly draws worth a total of Dh25,000 by spending at the mall. Mohammed Feras, the director of retail registration at the DRE, said that people should keep their eyes on the mall’s social media channels to catch up with the latest deals.
DSS will also host a special flash sale on hotel stays during its grand opening weekend. The event will feature exclusive deals and offers from various hotels in the city. Some of the notable properties that will participate include the Address Sky View Hotel and the Sahara Hotel.
