Can you get away with the perfect crime? Find out in a brand-new production of the blueprint for the modern thriller, Dial M for Murder, at Dubai Opera.
Written by British playwright Frederick Knott, the story first came into the limelight when it was adapted for the big screen by famed director Alfred Hitchcock in 1954.
The story of revenge and hatchet jobs revolves around Tony Wendice, a former tennis pro who finds out his wealthy socialite wife has been unfaithful. Angry and vengeful, Tony plans the perfect crime. But will he get away with it?
While the nail-biting suspense (be careful your new manicure doesn’t bite the dust) will keep you at the edge of your seat, sudden twists will give you thrills as Tony becomes ever more tangled in his web of lies.

He’s joined by actress and singer Diana Vickers and Christopher Harper, best known for playing Nathan Curtis in the long-running soap opera Coronation Street. A stellar cast indeed.
On Tuesday, November 23, Dubai Opera will present a special matinee show at 2 pm. Tickets are priced at Dhs200.
If you’re a student over the age of 12 or a teacher you can watch the epic production for a cut-price of Dhs50. One chaperone per 10 students can attend free of charge.
