South African Dance Superstar To Showcase In Poland

South African born Akhumzi Lesebo Nkosi will participate in the IDO World Street Dance Show Championships in Tomaszow Mazowiecki, Poland later this year.

The World Championships are hosted annually by the International Dance Organisation which is a World Dance and Dance Sport Federation with a membership of over 90 nations, representing more than 250,000 dancers from six continents.

This comes after the news that the young star at just the age of 11, will also receive his official Protea Colours which is the highest honour that can be bestowed upon a sportsman or woman in South Africa.

The President of the South African Body Of Dance, Bev Wood is in full praise of the young star. “It gives us great pleasure to announce that Akhumzi Lesebo Nkosi has competed in a series of provincial competitions and one national competition during the course of 2022, and has qualified to participate in the IDO World Street Dance Show Championships” says Wood

Akhumzi also known by his stage name “AK” will represent South Africa in this event where over 3000 of the top dancers in the world come together to compete. AK started dancing at the age of just two.

AK does not believe in limitations, he wants develop every day so that he can become the best of all time.
