Fancy checking out a new bar? Blink and you’ll miss this one. Cause | Effect launches its pop-up stint at Sheraton Grand Dubai tonight (Wednesday October 27), and Time Out has been down for a first look inside the slick space.
Currently the 75th best bar globally, according to World’s Best, in its native Cape Town Cause | Effect Cocktail Kitchen curates a menu inspired by the city’s natural terrain.
Located towards the top of the Sheikh Zayed Road hotel, transforming one of its exclusive executive lounges, Cause | Effect’s limited-time pop-up in Dubai will run for four weeks, and see the team from the acclaimed South African mixology hotspot serve up a bespoke menu curated specially for Dubai guests, inspired by the landscape and flavours of the region.
Expect mixed drinks crafted using molecular techniques, and pairing ingredients such as goat’s cheese and pomegranate. Guests can peruse a menu divided into three sections – Aperitivo Mixes, Experiential Drinks, and Vintage & Dessert-Style Drinks.
Thanks to its 31st-floor location, the bar boasts some pretty spectacular views of the city, too. And with room for just 40 guests at any one time, it’s one of the most exclusive, intimate places to grab a drink right now – not to mention one of the most Instagrammable.
