A solemn remembrance event was held to pay homage to the late Devesh Alva, a highly regarded personality in social circles, who passed away on December 30. The Shradhanjali prayer meet, conducted on January 14, unfolded on the rooftop of Fortune Atrium Hotel in Karama, owned by Praveen Kumar Shetty, the president of KNRI Forum. The ceremony, attended by approximately 300 close friends, relatives, and community leaders, served as a heartfelt tribute to the departed soul.
After the recent cremation rituals conducted in Devesh Alva’s hometown of Mangaluru, the condolence meet was organized to provide an opportunity for those who couldn’t attend the services back home. Attendees were immersed in a visual tribute, featuring cherished videos and photos of the late Devesh Alva showcased on a central video screen. A large photo image of the departed adorned the stage, accompanied by a smaller photo adorned with rose petals and flanked by two illuminated lamps, inviting attendees to express their condolences.
