A recent study conducted by Travelbag, specialists in long-haul holidays, analyzed Instagram hashtags for 100 of the most highly rated cities globally to compile this festive ranking. Dubai’s claim to fame in this regard is backed by an impressive 60,000 Instagram posts tagged ‘Christmas in Dubai,’ placing it in the upper echelons of holiday charm. Following closely behind are other cities such as Chicago, Vienna, Miami, Los Angeles, Melbourne, and Sydney.
London emerged as the undisputed leader in this festive spectacle, boasting a staggering 270,000 Instagram hashtags. The city’s glitzy lights, festive ambiance, and winter markets contribute to its magnetic appeal during the Christmas season. New York secured the second spot with over 255,000 hashtags showcasing the snowy landscapes of Central Park and the dazzling lights of Rockefeller Centre. Paris claimed the third position with 73,000 hashtags, adding its own unique charm to the global festive panorama.
