Arsenal Heads to Dubai for Season Revival Training Camp

Dubai Ranked #3 Safest Destination For Solo Travel

Arsenal is embarking on a journey to Dubai this Tuesday in a bid to revitalize their season through a warm-weather training camp. The team has faced a challenging period with three consecutive defeats in various competitions, and their next match is scheduled for January 20 against Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

Eager to make the most of the break, Arsenal has chosen Dubai as their destination, planning to stay until the following week. In a unique move, players have been encouraged to bring their families along. Some players, following Sunday’s FA Cup defeat by Liverpool, departed immediately to spend quality time with their loved ones before the commencement of the training camp.

Despite facing injuries, Arsenal is determined to include all players in the trip. Gabriel Jesus, recovering from a knee injury that sidelined him in the Liverpool match, will undergo further assessment in Dubai. There is optimism within the team that the issue is not severe. Oleksandr Zinchenko is making progress with a calf injury, while Fabio Vieira (groin), Jurrien Timber (knee), and Thomas Partey (thigh) will continue their rehabilitation in Dubai.

Considering potential disruptions like an FA Cup replay against Liverpool, Arsenal had contingency plans for the break. Although they could have continued training at their usual London Colney base, manager Mikel Arteta and his staff opted for Dubai, a destination they have favored in the past.

While in Dubai, players will fulfill some commercial commitments, but the primary focus will be on training and recovery. The schedule also allows dedicated time for players to be with their families, fostering team bonding. Previous trips to Dubai involved activities such as desert safaris, shared meals, beach outings, and visits to water parks during leisure time.
