Dubai Traffic Court has imposed fines on both a driver and two pedestrians following a recent accident that resulted in injuries to the pedestrians. The Arab driver was convicted for failing to comply with traffic regulations, while the Asian pedestrians were penalized for crossing the road from an area not designated for pedestrians. 
The court determined that the accident occurred due to the driver’s failure to adhere to traffic rules and show proper consideration for other road users. Medical reports confirmed the injuries sustained by the pedestrians, and the driver acknowledged not paying attention to the two individuals crossing in front of the vehicle. Consequently, the driver was fined Dh2,000.
In addition, the court held the two Asian pedestrians accountable for their actions leading up to the accident. The pedestrians were convicted for crossing the road from an undesignated area, disregarding traffic etiquette and rules. Their actions not only resulted in them being struck by the vehicle but also caused damage to the driver’s vehicle. Each pedestrian was fined Dh400.
This incident highlights the importance of both drivers and pedestrians adhering to traffic regulations to ensure road safety and prevent accidents.
