The King of Jordan, His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, has arrived in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for a significant state visit scheduled to kick off tomorrow, Wednesday. His arrival was met with a warm welcome from UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan at Al Bateen Executive Airport in Abu Dhabi. Joining in the reception were key dignitaries including Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs at the Ministry of Presidential Court, and Humaid Obaid Khalifa Obaid Abushibs, President of the Supreme Audit Institution.
King Abdullah was accompanied by His Royal Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince of Jordan. The Jordanian delegation also included Dr. Bisher Al-Khasawneh, Prime Minister of Jordan, and a number of ministers and high-ranking officials.
As a symbolic gesture of welcome and celebration for King Abdullah’s visit, fighter jets escorted his plane as it entered UAE airspace. This visit by King Abdullah to the UAE is a response to an invitation extended by Sheikh Mohamed, highlighting their shared dedication to further enhancing the deep-rooted and historic relations and strategic cooperation between their two nations. The visit aims to materialize their joint vision for sustainable development and prosperity in both countries, fulfilling the aspirations of their respective populations for a more prosperous future.
